In questo punto il fiume Dri Chu (Mekong) si allarga e si stende pacificando le sue acque che a monte scorrono con ben altra forza. Ai lati di questo fiume si coltiva l'orzo che tostato e macinato diventerà Tsampa, l'alimento principale dei Tibetani che vivono qui.
At this point the Drichu (Mekong) river spreads itself on a large valley leaving its tremendous whirling water behind. On both banks are barley fields. After being toasted and milled turns into Tsampa, the principal and most preferite nourishment for tibetans who still leave here.
